The Department of Lung Medicine of the Department of Pediatrics of the Clinical Center of the University of Pécs (PTE KK) has undergone a complete renovation – the higher education institution in Baranya told MTI.
In the announcement, it was written that the development was implemented on 300 square meters with the financing of the clinical center, from about one hundred million forints.
According to the available information, the unit can accommodate patients in nineteen beds in seven wards, so they can cure 700-800 children a year in the ward.
In the statement, quoting Andor Sebestyén, President of the University of Pécs, it was emphasized that the new space and the friendlier environment offer much more opportunities for accommodating mother and child together to meet the needs of the 21st century.
