UNIDEB to extend English language medical training

Local News University

Both in English and Hungarian, the digital curriculums of the MSc training in Social Work in Health Care and the BSc training in Nursing is going to be developed in the next two years from application resources of more than 40 million forints at the Medical and Health Science Center of the University of Debrecen.

Along with these, the core curriculums required for accreditation are going to be prepared. All this allows the launch of the two courses in the English language in the future. The English language programmes might result in a significant increase in the number of students, given the fact that there is no such training in Europe currently except in German speaking countries where it is very limited. In Hungary, the University of Debrecen will be the first institution to start MSc training in Social Work in Health Care and BSc training in Nursing in English.

The plans were presented by the leaders of the project at a press conference held on 12 March, 2012.

Assistant Dean Dr. Zsigmond Kósa is giving a talk.
