Danish Biotech Research Company Developing in Pécs

Danish biotechnology company FOSS quadruplicates their employee number in Hungary by adding 100 new, high added value R&D jobs to the existing 30 positions.Apart from this change, Soft Flow biotechnology company is building a 2000 square-metres, complex, Scandinavian-style office. The Hungarian Investment Promotion Agency (HIPA) assisted the 6.3 million euros project with comprehensive project management services.

Hungarian subsidiary of FOSS, Soft Flow Hungary grew into an internationally recognized R&D company in the past and today it has more than 30 people working with biotechnology, research and assay development with bioanalytical services. The Pécs unit is with strategic importance, because they produce chemical elements that are the ‘soul’ of the most innovative FOSS products.

The recently announced 6.3 million euros project creates 100 R&D jobs, while building a modern, 2000 square-metres Scandinavian-style office in Pécs. The building expected to be completed until December 2019.

The University of Pécs has a special focus on Biotech and Software development, both areas where FOSS is planning large extensions.
